City - ACJ Bristol : work made in response to the urban environment. Catalogue now available  here

The City exhibition provided the opportunity for members to take part in the exchange and exploration of new ideas in a mutually supportive atmosphere, with a peer selection process. We are a disparate group, teachers and the previously taught, a core of colleagues and students from the School of Art in Bristol, sharing a building with the RWA. We also draw on strong academic links with the Research Faculty at the University of the West of England.

An open brief to encourage a wide variety of entries resulted in a diverse range of techniques and materials from artists, professional makers and invited guests,  including Edinburgh jewellery MA graduates and students at Queen’s Road. Although some of the exhibits were jewellery, other objects and media appeared.
