| Chris Pate studied at Bristol School of Art from 2000 - 2004 where she explored combining traditional jewellery techniques with the contemporary medium metal clay. Metal clay now forms an integral part of her work, providing the sculptural, textural and three-dimensional qualities she desires. Her inspiration comes from life experiences and memories.
She designs and makes from her studio in Somerset and has been teaching traditional jewellery skills and metal clay for 6 years (see ACJ Links page for details of Touchmark Studios) She is an active member and Secretary of the ACJ-Bristol Group and a member of the PMC Guild. |
