| My work is inspired by the environments that I see around me while out running. Travelling on foot through the landscape allows a greater appreciation of the colours, contours and textures of the environment around us, and gives us the opportunity to see aspects of the landscape not often noticed in the usual rush and chaos of day to day life.
I use silver and gold wire, and hand stitched silk threads to try and capture these aspects of my favourite runs. I am a member of the ACJ Cambridge group, a licentiate member of the Society of Designer Craftsmen, and a network member of Craft Central. |
