Biography

"I have always held a love for vintage pieces from old fashioned silhouettes and fabrics to architecture and keys. It is this great interest in the past that led me to my current source of inspiration, lace. Lace has been a highly fascinating subject to study and has proven an endless source of inspiration. The creation of a lace master piece involves just as much patience and attention to detail as producing a high quality piece of jewellery. With this in mind I aimed to create a collection that is not only beautiful to admire and wear but is as thoughtfully designed and carefully produced as the vintage lace patterns that caught my imagination. When designing my current collection I had the challenge of fusing old world lace inspiration with the latest in jewellery production methods from the modern world. It is with these amazing advances in jewellery production technology that has allowed me to create pieces which appear just as delicate as the lace patterns which inspired me. The structures of these pieces have been carefully designed so that they resilient yet beautiful."
