| Tamizan works mainly in vitreous enamels and silver.
Recently she has been making small boxes and vessels to add to her range of jewellery for men & women. Member of the Society of Designer Craftsmen, the British Society of Enamellers and the Guild of Enamellers. Tamizan works for ACJ as Development Manager. |

Biography
| Tamizan used to build recording studios and run music projects for young people, but enamelling is much quieter.
She started working with silver in 1990, and enamelling in 1994. She set up her workshop fully in 2001, and won an Award for Artists from South West Arts (ACE) in 2002. Commissions include badges of office for the Ecumenical Prebendaries of Bristol Cathedral (2002 and 2005), for Bristol Museum & Art Gallery (2007), and for the Macrorie House Museum, Maritzburg SA (2007) Exhibitions include: Society of Designer Craftsmen, Chelsea, 2008 Art in Action, Oxford 2006-8 (demonstrating enamelling) The Art of Enamelling, Mobilia Gallery, USA 2006 SOFA New York 2006, with Mobilia Gallery Jewellery-Unlimited, Bristol 2004 showcase at Studio Fusion Gallery, London, 2002 Escuela des Artes, Pamplona, Spain, 2002 - 2 person show as Savill & Colmar |
