Inspiration for my jewellery designs originally developed from my travels abroad particularly India and Nepal observing architectural features. As I continue to expand the collection with new ideas, I often draw on my immediate environment looking at every day repeated shapes and forms such as brick work, road markings, tower blocks etc. I carry my camera around with me constantly and record anything that catches my eye.

My jewellery comprises of bold geometric designs often incorporating elements that move when worn. I strive to find different ways of creating fixings and links for necklaces and bracelets so that they become an integral part of the design. The technical processes within my jewellery are a mixture of photo etching, casting, piercing and soldering. I primarily work with silver, but also like to work with 9ct and18ct gold.

I finish my work by applying a black oxide; the surface is then polished to expose the silver adding contrast and depth to the jewellery. I make one off designs, but the majority of the work is small batch production.
