Trish is a teacher and metalsmith. She studied Jewellery and Silversmithing at Loughborough University, UK and was Head of Metals at the Appalachian Center for Craft, USA. She is currently a full time lecturer in Three Dimensional Design and Design History at South Devon College, UK and also engaged in PhD research at the University of Plymouth investigating processes for colouring Tin and Pewter. The colours have been developed through a process which aims to utilise those inherent but hidden in the material.
She has presented numerous papers on the potential for colour on Tin and Pewter and continues to exhibit. |
