My work challenges the traditional notion of "preciousness" but work with silver and gold leaf irreverently; curling,twisting, hammering, oxydixing, forging and sanding to matt and satin finishes merely emphasise the fact that "precious" does not have to shine.

I take my inspiration from the natural world, researching organic and inorganic sources but the finished pieces are always abstract.

The Silk Route - recycled silk waste mounted in silver

Silver Domes - pieces liked by the use of doming

Deformation - a range of pieces referencing the effect of rust on iron and steel

Recycled- scrap silver is fused into endlessly different forms to create individual pieces.

Folded - a range of work which began as fold formed pieces.
