I am a contemporary jeweller with a focus on colour and material experimentation. I currently work predominately with wood, laminate and silver although I also use other materials including, acrylic, textiles, spray paint and pearls. I make brooches, necklaces and earrings and each piece is made entirely by hand by me. My work is made with a high level of craftsmanship and I enjoy working on each little detail – for example the back is as important as the front and I often add hidden details here.

My work is an exploration of materials, colour, texture and shape. I like each piece to be a development of the one before so I produce one of a kind pieces and small limited editions. I really enjoy drawing my ideas and push initial designs in my sketchbook, pieces then develop further as I begin to work intuitively with the materials.

I am inspired by all sorts of things from plants through to buildings. I love repetition, pattern and shape in the environment around me and these often directly influence my work.
