Nolden BottomleyOpening event: Artist Talks by Simone Nolden & Anne Walker. Wednesday 19 February, 5.00 to 6.00pm

To celebrate this exciting exhibition of international contemporary jewellery, two of the artists gave presentations about their work and practice.

Anne is a jeweller and owner of heist jewellery, she predominantly uses CAD in her work and is an independent tutor, teaching privately and at schools of jewellery in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Simone Nolden trained as a gold and silversmith in Cologne,Germany. She characteristically combines both precious and non-precious materials to challenge the traditional concept of value.

Each artist gave a presentation about their work, and there was a lively discussion with the audience.

The exhibition will be open to the public from 20 February to 17 May 2020, in the Long Gallery on floor 5,  The Lighthouse, 11 Mitchell Lane, Glasgow, Scotland G1 3NU
