Cerys is the programme leader for the BA(Hons) Applied Arts and MDes Applied Arts at The North Wales School of Art and Design.
A practicing jeweller with a research interest in making wearable sensors, Cerys has published several papers examining the interaction between jewellery and memory.
Originally specialising in Glass with Jewellery/Silversmithing as a second subject at Edinburgh College of Art, Cerys completed her MA Contemporary Applied Arts in 2000 with the main focus on silversmithing and wearable sculpture.
Cerys has taught Applied Arts for over 18 years and is passionate about high quality making skills in the Crafts.
